Livio Delesgues is a Franco-Italian multidisciplinary
designer based in Jaipur, India. His passion for stone
began with time spent alongside his grandfather, a pioneer
in repurposing marble waste from the quarries of Carrara.
Early on, Livio recognized the role of design
in problemsolving, leading him to study at Penninghen,
the renowned school of art direction and interior architecture
in Paris. His fascination with
material and form eventually brought him to India,
where he began a deep exploration of noble
materials such as marble, brass, wood, and precious stone.
His current collection of furniture pieces
investigates repetition and symmetry drawn from the
natural patterns of these materials— particularly marble.
Inspired by geological processes of accumulation and erosion,
Livio’s work reflects a study in balance, weight, and geometry.
His designs reference classical architecture and the playful
spirit of the Memphis movement,
while remaining grounded
in the purity of stone.
